Most tradies don't want another marketing contract. You want to be findable in a few good places for as little money and admin as possible. Here's what a Find My Tradie listing includes, and the free listings worth doing too.

What you get for $19 a month

  • Your own profile page with your logo, a photo of your work, a short description and up to five trades.
  • Your base suburb and how far you travel (5 to 200 km), so you show up for searches in the suburbs you cover, nearest first.
  • The public phone, email and website you choose, plus your ABN and licence number.
  • Customers call, email or send a job request directly to you. We don't sit in the middle or take a cut.

Free directories worth adding too

Use the same business name, phone number and website on all of them.

  • Google Business Profile: the most important free listing for local trades.
  • Bing Places and Apple Business Connect: free, and they feed Bing and Apple Maps.
  • Yellow Pages / True Local (free tier), Hotfrog, StartLocal: free basic listings. Decline paid upsells you don't need.

What to watch out for with any listing

  • Long contracts that auto-renew.
  • "Free" listings that charge per enquiry or per quote later.
  • Anyone promising page one of Google or a set number of leads.

We don't promise leads either. Our agreement says so in plain words. We're a new directory building listings area by area, and you can leave whenever you like.

Straight up: Find My Tradie is new (launched October 2026). We're signing up tradies first, area by area, so homeowners find a full directory when we start promoting it to them. We can't guarantee leads or work, and we won't pretend to. What you get is a cheap, permanent profile page with no lock-in, so you can try it for a month and cancel by email if it isn't for you.

How much is a Find My Tradie listing?

$19 a month including GST, paid monthly in advance by direct debit through GoCardless. There's no setup fee.

Is there a contract?

No. There's no contract term or notice period. Cancel any time by emailing info@findmytradie.au. Debits stop straight away and your listing stays live until the end of the month you've paid for.

Do you charge per lead or take commission?

No. There are no lead fees and no commission. Customers contact you directly.

What trades can list?

Over 50 trade and home-service categories, from electricians, plumbers and builders to cleaners, dog groomers and mobile mechanics. You can pick up to five.
